Hey, well I want to put a wireless access point in my room so that I can connect my xbox and tv via ethanet to the interwebz. So my question is this:

If I put a wireless acess point in my room can it connect to the wireless downstairs or is it ment to have the network pluged into it via lan only?

I'm presuming I can connect to the wireless network but I'm just checking.

I will likely by this access point unless anyone has a reason not to:

Universal Repeater Mode
The Universal Repeater Mode lets this Range Extender/Access Point extend the coverage and signal strength for the current wireless environment. This standardized function is compatible with other wireless APs and Routers. Users can use this feature to build up a large wireless network in a huge space like airports, hotels and schools…etc.

Sounds fine. :)
