A client would like to extend their wireless reach and have asked me to spec them some wireless access points.

I've not needed them for so long I have no idea what the current favorites are. Doesn't have to be industrial spec, just something a decent home user would use.

:)

Well the key factor will be are they meshing wirelessly to extend range or will they be cabling to the new APs?

They're just using existing LAN connections at either end of their offices.

The building is a converted barn which is around 150 feet long. Currently their ADSL router supplies a good signal to the central portion of the building but doesn't quite cover the outer ends.

In that case you could go with any cheapo £30 AP that supports decent security I.E WPA2.
I dont really use dedicated APs on this small a project so don't have any model numbers in mind. But it is a business implementation so probably worth going for some slightly nicer ones :)
