wireless accesspoint problem

hi,

my laptop came today, and i dont fancy sitting next to my desktop with it so i got myself an accesspoint so i could walk around

however i have never used or set up one of these and i am having some trouble

its a netgear ME102 (dont know if its good or anything didnt want to spend much)

anyway a step by step guide would be good thanks
or if someone knows where there is something that can help i will be greatfull

Reading the manual would probably be a good start too.

Should just be a case of connecting the AP to whatever kit you've got already, and setting it up. Might be some extra (minor) complication if it has a default IP that's not in the same subnet as your existing kit.
It should work with zero setup, but default SSID and no encryption isn't the cleverest of ideas.

Of course, you could always just ask about whatever you're having trouble with...
