Wireless Adapter and Windows 7 x64

Can somebody name me a wireless adapter (PCI or USB dongle) that will work with Win 7 x64? I'm having to go wireless for a few months and my current card (Netgear WG311) is incompatible as far as I can tell...

I managed to get my friend's WG311 working on his X86 windows 7 by pressing F8 to bring up the boot option ans selected "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement" (he has too do it on every boot up) but his wireless now works,

also you can use bcedit to permenantly diabled driver signing.

bcdedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS

I installed Windows 7 x64 on my LAN PC, and luckily the 3Com 3CRUSBN175 was recognised straight off the bat! It's a USB adapter, but Wireless-N and it works flawlessly

another for edimax and i was using the Ralink drivers but they are a bit flaky so just using windows own connection and works perfect.

Im using a belkin fd57050 v4 and it works great using the vista x64 driver.

Cheers, think I'm going to go for the Edimax card, i'm getting 50MB fibre from August so it'll be more suitable in the long run.

Really? Which drivers did you use? :confused:

I have this adapter and want to try Windows 7 RC (64bit) but have not been able to find much info or help about it with Windows 7.

The ones it automatically downloads from Microsoft. It's used on my HTPC I'll have a look what version later

Oh so you are saying they are built in? If so thats great, as its no use my installing W7 if i cant access the net

No they arent built in. They are downloaded from windows update.

Thanks for that, was not able to find anything though. Seems that driver is specifically for Microsoft. I wonder if its in the RTM of W7.
