HI,
I have a netgear router downstairs and a pc connected to it upstairs using USB BlueNEXT wireless adapter, it works fine most of the time but after few hrs it disconnects and doesn't seem to reconnect automatically. Normally have to reboot. Also recently I moved the desktop under a desk and the signal strength sometimes varies between low to good now. I only moved it by a meter but now it's under a wooden desk, can this make a difference?
Regardess, the disconnection was always an issue.
Any ideas why this might be?

fishtanks are awfull for reducing wireless range aswell (due to the water and glass)

Is your router positioned in a good place? try not to set it right next to walls and windows and things like in the above post.

Some netgear routers have removal aerials that you can upgrade to others higher gain to reach further (not sure if your model allows this)

Also are you restarting the PC or the router to fix it?
