Wireless Adapter (USB/PCI) for Windows 7

Hi chaps,

Can you recommend a wifi adapter for an 802.11G wifi network that will work with Windows 7 x64 (preferably with as little hassle as possible)? It's for a desktop computer. Apologies if this has been covered before - you can't search for "Windows 7" as 7 is below the three-letter minimum

Search cleverer

Searching 'windows 64bit' or 'windows x64' returns plenty of threads covering this.

I use a Netgear WG111 wireless USB adaptor, which works perfectly on my Windows 7 x64 install.

I've got the Edimax EW-7728IN (PCI card) on my Windows 7 x64 install. Worked out of the box and it automagically installed drivers once it detected new hardware, so i never bothered doing it manually since it works fine as it is.

Linksys by Cisco WUSB54GR works it downloads the drivers via windows update in build 7100 they may be built into the final build or even RTM
