Am i right in thinking it'd be better to get a PCI wireless card over a USB dongle thing? I've just moved into a new house and they have Virgin internet with a D-Link wireless router. The first D-Link PCI card i found online was the D-Link AirPlus-G DWL-G510. Is this any good?

Thanks. :)

I have always prefered PCI to usb, maybe its just an old school boy habit.
I still have in my mind though that usb uses more cpu then pci cards.. not sure if thats true these days.

it still is true but years ago it was important to preserve all the cpu cycles , today not so true as the impact on performance a usb stick has is very very small compared to the total power of a computer.

PCI all the time. Most cards share similar chipsets (intel, realtek, broadcom etc) so not much difference between then.

Well thanks for the replies but my Dad had a spare USB card/thing so i'll be using that unless it turns out to be flaky. :)
