Hey guys,
I always assumed that pci would be better for adapters for some reason and that usb should always be left for peripherals etc. But from reading a few threads on here it seems people prefer usb wifi adapters, are they better?
Basically had enough of my built in asus screwing up and want to order a new card, just ordered the edimax ew-7728in card but can still cancel and change to a usb adapter if it will serve me better?
Also its possible that this wgr614 router virgin supplied is the issue, is it a rubbish router and should i be replacing it?
Problem essentially is that if i try to do anything higher than 2v2 on a peer to peer game like rts it just goes mental every few seconds with massive spikes and disconnects. Also get random disconnects when i am just browsing though no frequent but i then have to disable/enable my adapter.
Running windows 7 rc
