Hey,

Looking to swap out my current PCI wireless card for a usb adapter.

Was considering N600 Wireless Dual Band USB or the TP like high gain one OC have but not sure if i should stick to PCI/PCIe cards. Router is literally 3m from my pc but i cant use cables. I still seem to get 70-100ms in BF3 and random bad connections.

Will I see any major differences using usb? Only concerned about gaming latency/stability, nout else. Read on another thread about speaking to Sky regarding interweaving, so will check that out to.

Having a usb adapter will let me stick my xonar dg into the PCI slot to so thats an added bonus. The two adapters ive mentioned above will cost roughly including postage.N600 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter

Any recommendations would be welcomed.

At that distance you shouldn't be having any problems. Have you tried the obvious things such as changing the wireless channel?

There's no problem using USB for wireless. It can be better because the aerial placement is more flexible.

Could you use Powerline adapters? If they're that close together you should get a great connection. On a good day you can get a set for £30.

yer its quite an old card i have, likely anything will be better if thats the case.

Power line may well be a good shout, hadn't considered that. Will have a look cheers.
