Wireless Adaptor keeps Losing Router???

I'm hoping someone can offer some advice.

I am using a Netgear WN311T wireless adaptor with the Netgear DG834T Wireless modem router. Now everything has been working fine for a few months then last Saturday I downloaded a demo from Xbox Live marketplace as I also have my 360 connected to this router via patch lead.

Not only did the download seem to screw up my 360 (3 red lights) but since this happened my WN311T adaptor in my desktop every now & again keeps losing the router on the network & the little network icon in the tray at the bottom goes red. This could be pure coincidental though.

When I go into the WN311T adaptor properties window it says that my network adaptor does not match the properties of the network.

My network is WPA2-PSK (AES) secure according to the Netgear wireless assistant. I then change the security type to WPA-Personal / Encryption type: AES in the WN311T wireless adaptor properties & get back online but then it will drop out again after a while saying the adaptor doesn't match the network properties.

I have even unplugged & reset the router & downloaded the latest firmware.

I hope this makes sense & somebody can put their finger on what it could be.

I hope I've explained this well & if not let me know so I can give more info.

Thanks.
Lee.
