i just got a new xps m1710 laptop, but it refuses to connect properly to my wirless network. it corrects fine then comes up with limited connectivity. if i release and renew the ip addresses it will open up one ie page then it goes back to the same non functioing state! Im flat out of ideas here so ANY help at all would be greatly appreciated!

Ps: have 2 other lappies running fine on the network, and im running vista

Rups

Is the wireless router and laptop on the same index key?

We have our access points at work set to '2' but if your on '1' as default you can connect but get limited or no connectivity error?

Worth a try?

i think the problem lies with vista, the first vista laptop that came into work and tried to connect to our wpa network, couldnt and wouldnt! I thought it was down to me and i'd mistyped the settings etc.

We then bought another 6 vista laptops, they all connected fine, first time with no problems.

I still havent managed to get it to connect
