Wireless AP Help Please *FIXED*

Hey guys got quite an annoying problem lol, at work we use Macs, weve been using the Airport Extreme for some time now and its cutting out all the time the last few months.
So now weve gone and bought that nice new Wireless-N linksys omni directional thing lol, plugged in and can connect and can view the internet through anything connected to it, the only problem is i cant connect to the router via the browser, the manual says the IP should be: 192.168.1.245 but it dont work, also dont some netstat scanning on apples network utility and then typed in every IP address in there and still dosent come up, the thing is out DHCP is set to 192.0.0.*** range, anyone got any ideas on how i can connect to the Access Point?

humm linksys are normally 192.168.1.1 but that may have changed with newer ones. Easy way to find out, go to a pc, go start run, cmd click ok. then type ipconfig. the gateway address is your linksys. if that address doesn't work then it might be your proxy settings at fault

edit - ah you use macs! how annoying. Have you tried 192.168.0.1?

The annoying thing is the only PC we have someone took home for work and then had to go to US for a week so were stuck with only Xp on my Mac Pro with Bootcamp which is no good because it aint got wireless lol

factory reset the AP, connect via ethernet from mac using a manually set ip and mask in the default range for the AP.

Is the Browser program or settings the problem, can you telnet into that device?

default AP IP
192.168.1.245
