Not sure where to go on this ..
My house is old with super thick walls everywhere so my wifi was never the best (sky sagem router) so I dug out a trusty old wrt linksys router and stuck tomato on it and set it up as a bridge (same ssid, authentication method, password but different channel)
All appears fine if I look at it externally with inssider and both ap's work ok.
Problem is nothing wants to auto switch between them. I have to go out of range of the 'downstairs' ap before anything will switch to upstairs. Issue is everything g seems to hang onto the ap it first connected to until its slower than dial up even though there is a much stronger signal a available.
Not sure what to do next so open to suggestions!
