Wireless Bridge

I have a wired Ethernet device I want to make wireless, from my understanding I need a WDS enabled Wifi Bridge, I currently have a Billion 7402VGP which supports WDS also, am I on the right lines here or am I way off the mark?

My only option would be to use WDS if I can't find a cheap client bridge.

Am I right in thinking WDS enables it to act as both a bridge and ap/repeater simultaneously?
