Wireless Broadband

I am looking at getting a wireless broadband card for my laptop in the future because the network I am using is heavily filtered. I will mostly be gaming on it and want to know if wireless broadband is worth it.

I know its will be pretty difficult to answer that question when you guys are in a different country but I am hoping for someone who deals with these or has tried this before.

This is the description from one of the sites for one of the cards

It depends what it's using to connect to the internet - some sort of mobile phone thing (EDGE/3G/GPRS), WiFi, WiMAX.

It says it is using "EV-DO Revision A".I dont know if that is what your talking about.
