wireless broadband

Hi im from carlisle and I live quite far from exchange I get about 3mb connected speeds if lucky!

There is a company specialising in wireless broadbanad for about £35 a month I can get 8mb download and 5mb upstream for about £30 a month

High installation costs but seems worth it if its going to be faster speeds

just wondering if anyone has this installed? its a dish on side of chimney or house what they install..

Satellite has a high ping (1000ms or at least it used to) so while you'll get decent bandwidth any online game playing will be poor. If you dont play games then all well and good.
