Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a wireless usb or PCI-e device for my desktop PC? I am running Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate.
Currently connecting via ethernet to BT Homehub2 but planning on changing to wireless and connecting to BT Homehub3.
The reason I am thinking of changing to wireless is with ethernet, on my homehub2, when ever I boot my machine up, the internet connection drops on the router. With the homehub3, I couldn't even get any internet using ethernet, despite it saying it was connected to the network. I tried another machine with the homehub 3 using ethernet and this worked straight away. I even swapped out the ethernet card for a new intel one and it did the same so can only assume there are some compatibility issues between my PC and the router. I even tested different working cables to no avail.
Anyhow, hence my choice to go wireless.
