Well im shortly moving :( only for a year but my pc is coming with me, there is 1 meg sky internet there :O :( i need a wireless card to connect to it, i like to game but obviously this will now suffer. randomly the ping is ok just the speed that sucks so Spec me a wireless card please budget max £50 ish

Edit was looking at "D-Link DWA-556 Wireless N PCI-E Desktop Adaptor" but no available through overclockers i will also have a NAS attached to router

I have a D-Link DWA 547 in a Windows box that works flawlessly. It uses the Atheros chipset so is well supported under Linux (be aware that revisions may change the chipset, as happened with a Netgear card I had in another machine). And I've never had any problems using it for gaming.

Don't forget you need a Wireless N capable router to take advantage of the Wireless N card. Having a NAS attached to the router shouldn't be a problem unless you're pulling a ton of data of the NAS while trying to game at the same time.
