Hi,

I have the TP-LINK WN951N in my PC, and have it installed in my PC and there is a green light presumably indicating it is working, however i don't detect any wireless networks, it's not such a problem at the moment as i use ethernet hwile i am at uni, but i go home in a month, and i use wireless there, device manager says the device is working, and the drivers are upto date as far as i can tell, and i am definitely in range of wireless networks, so i have no idea why it is not picking any up?

Any help would be much appreciated.

It might be, it is an 'N' network card - but it is advertised as able to pick up b and g etc.
But i can see no way of viewing or changing this site - do you know how i could go about this?

If it's an option it'll be hidden in the settings somewhere. It's unlikely to be something that would be enabled by default.

My old G+ wireless card had an option to only connect at G+ which caused it to ignore non-G+ networks. I thought there could be something similar on N.

I can't find any software that comes with the drivers - and theres nothing in device manager that might help, and had a sift through control panel to no avail (though i might've missed something), and can't really think where any settings like that would be...
