hey there recently built a new pc and added the wireless card it detects the network but it will not join at all i have downloaded the drivers and even there own setup program.

this is the wireless card is
OcUK Value 300Mbps Wireless-N PCI Adapter

my setup is i5 2500k
Asrock Z68 PRO3
8gb vengeance ram
windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

I had that problem with the same card originally, after letting Windows 7 source its own drivers. However, after installing the drivers from the supplied CD (couldn't find any online) the problems went away.

So: where'd you download the drivers from? Have you tried the ones off the supplied CD?

i got them from the website that was on the manual and it installed a program to monitor wifi.

i have also tried just letting windows do its thing but still no go same problem, asks me for a password i enter it and it just says not available

Sounds like you've got a different card to me then, pretty sure there were no online drivers for the card I got!

Have you tried reseating the PCI card? Rebooting your router and PC?

ive done the reset router and pc i might try removing the drivers and putting it into a different pci slot and see if i can get it to boot

Right i have sorted it i removed the drivers in device manager and then changed the wifi card to the next slot down thanks Chigley and thombassmonkey
