Ethernet if it isn't too much hassle. You could also consider power line adapters as an alternative.

Far cheaper then power line adapters, just tuck the cable under the edge of the carpet, to get up stairs l ran the cable under the carpet then up the stairwell support post on the inside back under the carpet took about 20 minute's to run 2 at the same time.

I'm electrosensitive to WiFi when it's in very close proximity to myself, for me always wired.

World health organisation have recognised electro hyper sensitivity since 2005, studies find there could be as much as 1% of the population who suffers from EHS

In 2010 WHO categorised WiFi a possible carcinogen along with DECT and mobile phones.

Do some research and don't be so ignorant to the facts. If someone told you they had skin allergy, or allergy to certain food would you dismiss them because you don't.

Wired all the way. If you can do it, do it. If you can't, go power. If you are too tight to go power then and only then consider wifi and only then if no online gaming will ever happen on that particular system.

Tried wireless with a netgear WPN111 usb adapter. Absolutely dire. It would heat up and cause the system to freeze when gaming. Invested in a 10m ethernet cable and ran it round the room below mats and furniture etc, (solid wooden floors in the room). Cable is pretty well hidden, and never have any connection issues now. Did try powerlines, but due to some conflict with the wiring in my house they didnt work. The pc closest to the router is in an older part of the house, my main rig is in an extension to that room built on about 7 years ago.
