Wireless Card Suggestions

I am getting nowhere fast as to a solution to what I suspect is an unfixable problem. With that in mind I want rid of my Wireless card and now looking to buying a new one.

I need a PCIe wireless card. That is basically it. I already have one that seems to be on the blink (Asus n15 11n) what would be a suitable replacement. It will be connection to an old router (I will eventually replace it) an ADSL BT Voyager 2110 with b/g wireless.

I have no real need for anything faster as I am already getting full speed through put on the wireless (only have a 7Mb line). I just need something that will connect reliably.

Any help is much appreciated as it has been 2 weeks since I built my new PC and the only failing is the wireless.

Ethernet right now is not an option. I will have to look into some power plugs. I just need a socket for them. The router is not the problem here. I currently have 2 laptops and PS3 running from it with the occasional old PC wired up. I have already bought and returned and ADSL2+ Netgear modem/router and a Trendnet N+ router. Likewise everything would connect to them (well the Trendnet one the Netgear failed to establish a DSL connection) and work perfectly. But not the PC.

The only thing wrong with the chain seems to be the card. I had it Ehternet wired but this caused arguments in the house. The power plugs would work but the router only has 2 sockets next to it. One is taken up by the router and the other by the old (largely unused) PC. I could make it work but juggling would be involved.

Thanks for the help. Any other suggestion?

EDIT: Would Power Plugs to a 4 port Ethernet switch work or is it a one shot deal.

Zibob,

I have the Netgear equivalent and they work fine. I have a TP-Link ADSL Router used for the in-lawes ADSL connection and it works great
