Wireless card

Well after building my pc 5 years ago, moving house 4 times I finally find myself in a situation where I can no longer run an ethernet cable to my room.

I am in need of a wireless card but am totally lost. I have a dual band virgin super hub router.

I just need a solid connection with decent speeds so any recommendations would be useful.

I've no idea what to expect on price really for something decent so any advice is super appreciated.

USB or PCI/PCIe?

Powerline adapters are worth considering as an alternative.

I used one of these for a long time, just this last week gone for PoweLIne adapters though.

I don't mind what type of connection at all. Powerline is not an option for me

Looking myself prices seem to vary a lot. This one seems on the cheaper end, I game a lot is this thing solid enough for that?

That's the exact one I used for many years... Get it new if b grade bothers you but yeah, 300Mb/s was plenty for me in all of my online gaming. Gone to 500Mb/s power lines and nothing has changed.
