wireless charging mouse pads

Hi

Does anyone have one of the Logitech wireless charging mats or equivalent?

I do like wireless things and am looking to get a new mouse next month.

How are they?

Is it needed?

Also, mouse recommendation? obviously getting a Logitech charging surface would limit the choice.

I have a G703, and the charging mouse pad isn't needed. You can recharge and/or play via USB as well and the transition is seemless. I keep the cable when not gaming, and remove the cable in-game, with no issues.

It's really nice, actually. I also have a G403, and I don't miss the cable

Between the G703 and G900, it depends if you are looking for a 'simple', lighter mouse like the G403, or a mouse with more options (infinite scroll wheel, ect) and the ergonomics of a G502.

To be fair, the charging mouse pad would be too small for me. I use a gigantic full desk mouse pad instead (Glorious G-XXL mouse pad), and that's real nice. I have no movement restrictions. So in that optic, if you find a cheap G403 wireless, you might as well go with that. It's virtually identical to the G703, minus the lightspeed capabilities.
