Wireless Connection Help

Ok my brothers just brought a (NETGEAR WPN824 WIRELESS MODEM) and i need help, i want to set it up so only my brothers computer and mine are allowed to use the modem, password it so no1 can try and login to the router and use my connection is this possible and if so how do i do it.

To make it so only you can access it you should first make sure that your wireless security is turned on on the router, im using WEP 128bit this will mean you have to enter the WEP key to connect to the router.

There is also some settings were you can restrict it so only the MAC ID's of your network adapters are allowed to connect and you can turn off broadcasting so no one knows the network is there apart from you.

Never rely on the MAC filtering or the absence of an SSID to keep you safe, both are trivial to defeat.

can any1 tell me were i can change these settings as im a complete n00b when it comes to this techno stuff lol i would be very very gratefull.

Don't use WEP either, it's a complete waste of time (especially if you've got kit that'll do better).

The settings will be in the router's web interface - the manual should tell you what's needed.
