I have a Toshiba laptop running Vista Home. I have Virgin Media with a Netgear Hub.
My internet connection has been fine for a long time until yesterday when I couldn't connect - my gf's laptop and my iPhone connect perfectly well.
The "network" sharing centre indicates my laptop connects "local only" and is identifying - I have attempted numerous times without luck - I have deleted my "known networks" and reattempted connection to no avail.
Having looked on Google, I uninstalled my Virgin Media Security and disconnected Windows Firewall to see if that helped, but didn't.
I have also run netsh at C: prompt to no avail.
Can anyone please advise? It's doing my head in!
