ok i need a little help.
when im around jen's house i connect my laptop up to their wireless (sky broadband with a crappy old netgear router provided by them). i will be surfing the internet for about 2 or 3 minutes when the connection drops. its dropped 5 times so far as im typing this. it only seems to be my laptop thats having the problem. its a sony vaio VGN-BX197XP. ive only been experiencing the problem for the past few days and have no idea why. the ip address is static so there is no conflict with another computer or laptop.
the signal at the time is always on excellent. oh and it only seems to be the internet connection. the wireless stays conected
