ive been having problems with my wireless connection over the last couple of days and am unsure how to fix it so need a bit of advice.
my wireless card is a edimax ew-7728in card. its was working fine over the last couple of months but now has started playing up. what happens is that it connects to my network but the internet speed would be right slow compared to what they were i.e between 5 to 100kbs rather then 1mb and would show up as connected but internet paged wouldnt load up
now ive tried:
-windows reinstall
-pc was overclocked, tried without the overclock
-place the wireless card in a different pcie slot
-tried a brand new wireless card of exact same model and make
-updated drivers
none of the above have fixed it and the problem still exists.
no other pc in my house that has a wireless connection has this problem with download speeds.
the only thing that fixes it is when im running the pc in safe mode. i get my 1mb download speeds and no web pafe fails
does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
