Hey,
I've been running a wireless connection trouble-free for ages at my parents house, but they phoned me this week and said that it had suddenly died. I'm back home now and none of the 3 wireless machines can connect to the wireless router
The connection appears in the Wireless Connections menu, but I can't connect to it. I've tried turning off WPA and MAC filtering but this doesn't allow any of the machines to connect. The machines are:
Router - 3Com 3CRWDR100A-72 (Firmware 2.06)
PC1 - Dell Inspiron 6400 with Intel wifi card
PC2 - AXP machine with D-Link DWL-G520
PC2 - AXP machine with D-Link DWL-G520+ (also tried with 3Com 3CRUSB10075)
All machines can access the internet perfectly when directly wired to the router. Any ideas as to what's wrong? I'm beginning to think it's a hardware failure
Cheers,
Suman
