wireless connection

Am using the wired part of the router how do i make sure the wireless part is turned off. I have the netgear WGR614v9.
When i try to click on it it comes up with this
A user name and password are being requested by http://www.routerlogin.net. The site says: "NETGEAR WGR614v9"
How do i get round this?
Is this a good router for game with ...

Got into it, but where would it say how to disable it. ive turned all the wireless bits off.
