wireless controller/receiver question

I recently bought a wireless Xbox controller for windows, it came with a receiver that plus into my pc's usb

I want to get a wireless mouse and maybe a keyboard too , would they all connect to the same receiver ?

No, it uses a different technology.
A wireless mouse and keyboard will come with there own usb receiver (depending on what you buy)
If you go logitech for example most there wireless products have a unified receiver where it uses 1 usb receiver for all Logitech wireless devices.
