Since yesterday while i have been surfing the net (Firefox), the internet would seem to cut out.
It wouldn't load up any webpages, but it wouldn't display any error message. It was like it was trying to connect but couldn't.

However, uTorrent was still downloading, normal speeds and everything. It was just the web browser that appeared not to work!

Does anybody know what could be causing this?

Thanks

Deep

What upload rate do you have set? I set mine to 8 as it doesn't affect the dl speeds but helps speed the net up for all users. Hight upload rates are usually the cause of slower intenet.

ask both the others have said.

but you may just have a really cack router

what os are you using, might want to check eventvwr

probably getting loads of 4226 errors,if so you need to increase the windows limit of concurrent connections

My upload speed on uTorrent is 25, which it has been for a long time, and i haven't had any trouble before.

Max connections on uTorrent is 130. I'm not sure what that means but I haven't changed in recent times.
The router is a BT Voyager 2100, and again never had problems like this.
Im using Vista 32bit on my XPS.

Where do i find event viewer?

Thanks for your help guys, so far no problem. Lets hope it continues that way

Nope to either of those.

Lets pause this for a while, and if it happens again i will say.

It happened once last night and once this morning. Very strange.

Thanks again for the help and lets hope this doesnt continue!
