wireless desktop combinations - distance

I am trying to spec a wireless keyboard/mouse combination for a mate to use in his living room. Howver, his plasma is on one wall with the pc and the couch is probably 20 foot away on the other wall.

any recommendations for this sort of distance?

a bluetooth based set like the mx5000 or the dinovo desktop...

is there anything with a built in mouse. I have seen a few which basically look like a laptop with no screen but I don't know how much distance they cover.

I personally like the look of that dinovo but I thinnk it will be overkill for my mate as he will only be looking at emails and basic browsing.

I got the MX3000 set a few weeks ago.
Loving It!
Some people will advise to go RF over BT. Thats why I got this set. No complaints!
