My brother is having issues connecting to the internet when his 360 controller receiver is plugged in at the same time as his USB WIFI adapter... He needs to unplug the wireless controller receiver if he wants to use the internet, otherwise the connection drops all the time! We've tried changing USB ports for both devices and installed the latest drivers with no luck.

His USB WIFI adapter is a Netgear N150 (WNA1100) and is connected via wireless N 2.4GHz to his Virgin Super Hub (also Netgear branded). Does this happen with anyone else using wireless internet and a wireless Microsoft controller receiver? Any ideas how to fix it without buying more parts?

Cheers

Anyone have any ideas if this can be fixed? Should I just buy hi another WIFI adapter that supports 5GHz band instead? It's strange how he only loses his WIFI signal as soon as he plugs in his Microsoft controller receiver ... I can't find anyone else posting about the same issue. Tried moving the adapter away from the PC and controller receiver (it has an extension cable with cradle). Also tried changing channels on the Virgin Super Hub 2 router. Nothing seems to work :(
