Wireless down again

The other week my internet wasn't working so i had to install a new network card but now the wirless network doesn't seem to be working and I think it had soemthing to do with the lynksis network software as I can't seem to do anything with it apart from change tabs. It also doesn't have any networks listed any everything seems to be blank.

i has the same problem till i moved my wireless router to a different location since then not a problem!
 
Stange as it's been okay in the current position but has had it's fair share of problems.

Just looked under the router and just found one of those warranty void stickers folded into a gap in the router an looks like it's allready been opened. Shame I didn't notice this when I bought the router last year!
 
Are you able to get to the Linksys router page when connected via ethernet cable? If so the try changing the wireless channel and see if that helps.
 
Tried moving it np luck and tried changing the channel but no luck. Is there anything else I should do after changing the channel like reboot the roter/modem or restart the PC?

I've also noticed the led on the networl card isn't flashing and the software says it's inactive. Is that because it can't find a signal or because it's broken or just hasn't been enabled?

I decided to put the NIC card in another PIC slot and guess what it works! What's going on though first the router doesn't like my mobos ethernet connector now the NIC card and the PCI slot! I smell a conspiracy!!!
