Wireless Drivers

Hey OcUK, I purchased aOcUK Limited Edition P170EM while ago and recently had to reformat it, I seem to have lost the Wireless Drivers for it on the way. I've tried using SlimDrivers and other programs, I've tried checking websites as to what components there are to see if I can go to manufacturers websites and downloading the drivers but I just can't seem to find the right ones. I was wondering if anyone here can help me. Much appreciated!

Go to device manager, find the "unknown device"s, check the VID (vendor ID) and PID (product ID), then google 'em. Should tell you exactly what's in there. Then you can get drivers :)

If you can't find the drivers post the VID and PID here.

Looking on the Network Controller I can't see any VIP or PID there. Using the drop down box I can only find Hardware ID's

I took a look on the internet too and one of OcUK's partners described it was the 2230, however I've tried both of of the 32bit Drivers for W7 on the link you provided but none of them did anything :(

If I go to Control Panel, Network Connections and hit change adaptor settings I can only find Bluetooth network connection and Local Area Connection (Ethernet)

Edit:

Unsure if this helps, but using the Intel Driver Update Utility it shows my Wireless Networking (WiFi) as Product Detected: Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller. Current Driver Installed: 17.1.0.0

The Realtek one there is your onboard LAN, although there is nothing to say it also wouldn't be a Realtek wireless adapter in there too.

Try something like Speccy as it might help find it https://www.piriform.com/speccy

I had to install the Realtek Driver manually, after formatting it and plugin an Ethernet cable into it, it still showed a no connection sign (which is a first for me), so I downloaded the Realtek Driver on my PC and transferred it onto my laptop to get the Ethernet working.

Using Speccy it doesn't show me any particular hardware, here is what I got, the main concern being "WiFi not enabled".

That's what you're after. Under Hardware Ids will be something like the below, post that and I'm sure we can help out.

PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_307C17AA&REV_06

Hardware ID's folks, I appreciate all the assistance!

PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8723&SUBSYS_072610EC&REV_00
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8723&SUBSYS_072610EC

I downloaded the one under the header: RTL8191SE-VA2 which seems the closest to the one you suggested Duke, still nothing when I look under Network and Sharing (Only shows Ethernet when connected and Bluetooth)
