Hi everyone,
Similar needs to this thread...
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18411924
1. I have a set-up in the 4th bedroom of my house (study) a Netgear N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Modem Router DGND3700 along with a PC and a small QNAP Server.
2. From this room I distribute network traffic from a gigabit switch to 3 rooms using AV200 power line adaptors with a small router in the lounge.

Everything works great with no problems as in the majority of cases only one or two pieces of equipment are working in the other rooms at the same time.
3. We have just purchased 2 x Samsung S2 mobiles that we have naturally set-up to use the house Wi-fi. Upstairs near the router both mobiles work perfectly with a very strong signal. However, as soon as we move downstairs to the lounge we get a poor to none existent signal. This is because the house be it modern, is constructed of reconstituted stone that blocks the wi-fi signals. Hence the use of power line adaptors for all the other hardware in other rooms.
4. I was going to purchase the piece of equipment recommend in the other thread
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=nw-052-tp&campaign=pcm/googleshopping
and connect it to the small edimax switch mentioned above so that i can get a good signal for the samsung s2 phones in the lounge. is this there anything wrong with this scenario? i must mention at this point that we have a 15" macbook pro that we use sometimes down stairs here are the specifications http://www.apple.com/macbookpro/specs.html
5. Is this piece of kit correct for the job....
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-052-TP&campaign=pcm/googleshopping or is there something better suited for our needs on the market?
Edited. I also see there are others!

Thanks in anticipation.
