 Hi Guys,

I have a quick question, im sure there is a simple enough solution but i cant find it  .

Firstly my set up, i have DSL coming into my house via 3com Modem. I have a Linksys Wireless Router plugged into this. This is all upstairs in my house, and i have good wireless connectivity throughout my house.

Problem is this. In my sitting room i have a KISS DVD Player which also has the facility to connect to a Standard LAN via an RJ45 connection at that back of it.

Is there some way i can place a wireless reciever / extender / access point in my sitting room which will recieve my existing wireless signal from the Linksys router and allow me to plus my KISS player into it via RJ45 connection?

Failing this is there anyone with any innovative idea as to how i can get this onto my LAN.

Please dont suggest running Ethernet cable from my upstairs router to my sitting room, after a weekend of crawling around an attic in the dark i have given up on that option.

Thanks for your help,
Dave

Might be worth looking into Devolo MicroLink dLAN Homeplug networking.
After months of problems with my wireless I gave up & got a set of these.
It allows PC networking over your mains power, & will probably run quicker than wireless, up to 85Mbps.
