Hi all. I'm looking to buy aw x17m laptop, and I whant to save my money and choose cheaper wireless, but I don't know if I will be able play to online games with the Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 2230 with Bluetooth 4.0(Included in Price) as well as with Killer Wireless-N 1103 a/g/n 3x3 MIMO with Bluetooth 4.0 (+ £50.00). I think 300Mbps Centrino wireless speed for browsing the web or downloading is enough, but don't know what about games. Can you help me guys to decide ? I wll be gratfu:).

ps: sry for bad english:p

Don't waste your money on the killer wireless adapter. The built in standard one is fine, Killer products are a joke and a rip off, the difference that they make is often placebo related, people think they're working because they've paid out silly money for it, and can't admit that they've been had.

I have the killer in mine but that was only as it was on offer. You will be fine with the intel one but the killer does have some cool features like selective qos I've been told. The £10 extra it normally is I'd go for it.

Mine appears today so I should be able to tell you more soon.

Edit: 2nd post explains it abit: http://www.alienwarearena.com/forums/topic/15968/hardware/wireless-cards/
