Hi all, just some help/advice.

I'm moving to a new flat soon, and the layout makes a wired connection impractical. It appears that PCI is better, so I’m looking at these three:

however they have mixed reviews, so i'm looking at this USB one aswell which has good reviews:

I use internet for having lots of windows up at once and streaming TV, with only a little bit of internet gaming but no twitch shooters or anything so any increased latency isn't a problem. Windows 7 64bit OS, spare PCI slot and plenty of USB slots, so either is possible.

Thanks in advance,

There wont be much to call between the cards. TP-link seems to be well liked for budget kit, most of my home network is based on them without problems.

Is wired really impossible? I pulled up the edges of the carpet and ran ethernet underneath, going around door frames where it was unavoidable. Worth doing imo.

The TP-Link does a good job, I would go for that.

As for a wired connection, have you considered home plugs? They're as stable as a normal wired connection and doesn't require you to lay down long wires around the house.

It would be difficult, since the only phone point is at one end of the flat and my room is at the other, so the cable would have to go down the hall, past every single doorway. I'll try and talk them into letting me run it across the ceiling but wireless would be easier!
