Guys,

I'm just in the process of signing up for Broadband at my flat with AOL & will bet getting their free wireless router.

However I will now need a wirless card for my Toshiba laptop & have noe idea what I should be looking for :( :(

Can you recommend one for me from OCUK's extensive list??

I dont want to spend a fortune but would like a reasonable one.

Also as I'm pretty useless with all this wireless stuff any advice as to what I should be looking for with regards to the card would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Neil

What Tosh laptop do you have ?

might be worth looking at an internal Mini-Pci card as aposed to a PCMCIA sticking out the side... if your model has the relevant free slot of course

Not sure off the top of my head it's about 2 years old, I dont do any gaming so it's only been used for web surfing at my parents.
I will find out when I get hope & post the model then.

Sorry about that should have waited till I got home really before I posted this thread shouldnt I ;) ;)

Just checked my Laptop is a Toshiba Satellite Pro (Bought in July 2004) with an Intel Celeron processor.

Dont think it has wireless built in & will probably require a PCMCIA card I'm afraid :(
