Wireless gaming adapter + 360

Those devices are basically access points with all but one ethernet port lopped off, and it'll only run in client mode.
You hook it up to a PC initially, and configure it to connect to your access point. Then you hook it up to your 360, and the 360 will act as though it has a wired connection, and will be totally unaware that the connection is actually wireless. They're good if your 360 never travels and needs to connect to other AP's, as you'd need to reconfigure it every time!

If you want your 360 to be wireless you need the official MS adapter.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

A wireless ethernet converter is typically a cheaper and better option given that you can share other devices with it and it's portable offering you better reception.

I've actually just found out I can use this FON router I got for free as a gaming adapter, will have to give that a try when I get home :D
