Hey All

Just in the market for getting a wireless network card and came across these gaming adapters. Has anybody tried these? Would you say they're just as good as normal PCI network cards.

The reason i'm looking into them is that it'll save space inside my PC and i'll be able to set it up at a higher position and hopefully get a better signal.

If I understand what you are talking about correctly, you are talking about wireless network bridges (marketed as gaming adapters for people who are less technically minded/non PC users). They just allow a wired adapter to connect to a wireless router.
In my experience they are a lot more versatile than USB/PCI adapters becuase they can be moved about to any device with a LAN port to enable it to access a network/internet.
The only problem I have had is with the USR one I had, which during a power cut would reset itself, so I would have to go though the hassle of resetting it up everytime. May not be a problem with others though.

Its those things there. ^^

I'm assuming they're just typical wireless network cards but they have an ethernet connection which then allows me to connect it to my ethernet port so I don't have to put it inside my PC.

Its already cramped enough in there so thats my reasoning for looking at them plus I'd be able to move it about so hopefully be able to get a better signal if needed. I wouldn't bother if they were USB but because its ethernet i'm curious about them.
