I would like to know if there are any good wireless gaming mice?

Budget of £50 ish.

I appreciate that wired mice are probably better but I just hate wires!!!

So any suggestions?

The only one you should really be looking at from what I've read is the Razer Mamba which is a) out of your price range and b) out of stock :D.

That mouse looks really nice but sadly I can't stretch that far!
Interesting that it has wired/wireless functionality.

I've had a look around, any thoughts on these;

Logitech G700 - over budget but might consider if its any good
MS Sidewinder X8 - within budget

any others?

Unless you are getting the Mamba or the Naga Epic i wouldn't bother with wireless for £50 you can get a decent Wired mouse.

So many good wired mice @ £50 it would be silly not to get one. I've tried many wireless mice in the past and they don't compare to a wired mouse for gaming.

Yeah I know there are lots of great wired mice for my budget but I was really hoping to find a decent wireless mouse as I pointed out I hate wires!!! They just seem to get in the way.

I guess if I want wireless I'm looking at spending nearer to £100?

Thanks anyway.

IMO, I would never get a wireless mouse for gaming unless it cost a lot.

Maybe just go wired and get the Deathadder or MX518?

If you have never had a wirless mouse before, I would deffo get one, evern if the mouse is 800dpi, as I always use 800dpi on my Wired G6 and wireless logi mx1000..

Ive been using my logi g5 wired mouse for the past yr, and Ive just gone back to my logi wireless mx1000 mouse as the cable was annoying me. The only 2 diff between both is the wireless is a tad heavier and theirs about a 200 - 300ms of a second to wake up the mx1000.. but I cant tell any other diff between them.

I would hold off from buying 1 yet tho, as logitech and ms has gone abit quiet on wireless mouse, but no doubt we will see more soon.. I would always buy logitech and If you have to have 1 now, id buy this but its expensive........

the Mamba offers switchable and choosable dpi in 100 increments ;)

Also offers up to 5 I think dpi settings. I have 3 on at the moment for finding my sweet spot on CSS. I use 600 for windows use and 1800 and 2100 for css
