Wireless Gaming

Bought a Netgear wireless adapter to use in conjunction with my Belkin router, when i get my new build delivered on Thursday.

Who games wirelessly? Are there any drawbacks? I have a 10m ethernet cable which i could use instead, but would rather not.

Well, my router is on one side of my living room and my pc is on the other. Literally maybe 5 metres apart...

My laptop runs perfectly well wirelessly so I'm hoping it'll be the same situation.
