Can anyone suggest a wireless hdmi sender/receiver, ideally for less than £100?

Primary usage is at work to use with laptops and a large screen LCD/plasma.

Thanks.

Without being too pedantic, is displaying your laptop on a TV actually the end goal (I.e. Setting it up at work for displaying presentations) or are you going to use it as a device just for playing video?

No, it is very specifically for work presentations, so mostly static images, maybe a few videos of the company products.
It will be installed in one of the meeting rooms.

Not sure about WiDi. I think that needs hardware with it built in doesn't it?
We have a basic LCD TV already which has now been earmarked for this use and the laptops I am pretty sure are not WiDi.

I've got a couple of Trulink Wireless HDMI kits. They work fine, bit of a faff having to install the drivers initially, but other than that they are ok. Main reason we don't use them too much was you cant have multiple receivers running from one USB dongle, and we had 2 screens in our boardroom. Ended up getting them hardwired into a HDMI splitter box.

They might be out of your budget though, around £150.

Cheers, I will check those out. Probably convince them to stretch to that.
Had a quick Google, looks like it is a base box that connects to the TV, and then a Hdmi dongle for the laptop?

Should do the job quite nicely
