UPDATED!

I think i will now have a budget of around £50 for a decent pair of Stereo music/Gaming Headphones.

I like the look of these - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SP-011-RA&groupid=702&catid=1058&subcat=1719 - Razer Orca - Lime Green

and these - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SP-028-ST - Steelseries Siberia v2 - BLUE

and these - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SP-022-ST&groupid=702&catid=1058&subcat=1719 Steelseries Siberia v2 RED

Does anybody have these and do they reckon they are worth the price, and i think the colour is amazing and vivid.

A want something which is preferably noice cancelling, so my brother cant talk to me when im gaming/doing work with music feeding my ears.

Does anybody have any recommendations for noise cancelling Stereo Gaming/Music Headphones for around £50-£60?

Tarr.

Wireless headphones for £40? I can link some awful ones if you like for that price? Otherwise try adding a 1 to the front, then I can actually recommend some!

Also, have read of this forum a bit first; you will see that wireless headphones aren't generally recommended, neither are 5.1 headsets. Most people seem to either a stereo headset or a stereo headphone with a clip on mic.

Edit: Take a look at the Corsair HS1A's.

I wouldn't recommend wireless headphones, I listened to a couple of pairs and they generally aren't very good unless you want to spend a lot of money.

My experience of wireless headphones has been really poor too and time and again you'll see us here recommend some form of wired headphones (and almost always Goldrings).

For £40 you can get yourself some Goldring DR50s and the Speedlink clip mic, an excellent setup that sounds miles better than any wireless headphones ever will, if you can stretch to £55 you can buy the superior DR150s. I generally find people only want wireless headphones because they've had headphones with short cables and got stung with poor quality extensions, the DR series come with 3m high quality cables and a further 3m can be bought for £5 ;)

The Arctic (Cooling) Sound P531 is a 5.1 USB headset. I'm using it now, and it's pretty darn good. Just in your price range too.

Google Shopping is your friend!

all points taken, and i am now considering a usb stereo, or 5.1 headset, depending on my options. Looked at them Goldring DR150's and they've took my liking, as we;; as the speedlikn clip mic, very impressive, will give it some consideration and will probably purchase in about a month or so as i will be travelling to london with my peers from college. Will keep you posted, ty for help :)

The DR150s are great headphones for the price, the only thing that you might need to know is they are open, it's like having 2 mini speakers on your head, everyone around you can hear everything and you'll hear everyone else too, it does however mean you won't be shouting when you use the mic :D

If you don't plan on using them as headphones and only a headset then you can cable tie the mic to the headphones (don't know how, a few people have done it on here though) which might interest you too.

Goldring NS1000s from Superfi are the best headphones you'll find for under £100 and they also come with noise cancelling. The only inconvenience with them is the cable length (around 80-100cm) so you'll want an extension, a great quality 3m cable can be had for £5 from audiovisualonline, I've been using the extension for months with no noticeable quality loss.

They seem nice, and with the noise cancelling and no sound leak as they are closed seems very good for the money anyway, saw them fro £54.99 on a Jersey based retail website and i must say, they have caught my attention. Will keep my options open as the one i updated within my OP look spectacular with the colours and the actual look of the headset itself.

Thanks :D
