Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can help me. Looking for a few wireless headsets for work which can connect to a single dongle or have detachable mics so staff can have there own. Cheaper the better :D

Cheers

Wireless / Bluetooth with a detachable mic probably isn't a thing, as then you'll have two devices to pair. I've only used BT headsets which pair as a single device.

You want staff to share the headphones but have their own mic? Is that for hygiene reasons?

I wouldn't want to use shared headphones or a mic. Using shared keyboards, mice and chairs on hot desks is bad enough.

Yes was for hygiene reasons, would be better for everyone to have there own headset. Would using a generic bluetooth dongle allow 5-6 headsets connect with out any issue. Would only be one headset connected per session but when one staff member logs off and another on would it then connect there other headset (if that makes sense).

Will they always return to the same computer? If not the headset will connect to the last computer if it's in range and if someone is already logged on to this other computer, their audio may switch to the wrong headset.

Would be easier and cheaper to use wired headsets, no worries about charging, connection issues etc.

They switch between 2 computers, we use wired atm but have a lot of requests to go wireless so was just looking at some options.
