Just trying to use my wireless headset for the first time on my 360.

Turned 360 on, finds my pad on 1. The wireless headset should then connect to that pad one 1, but keeps going to the 2nd ring.

I have no other wireless devices...Any idea what the problem is?

I have tried connecting the headset before the pad, but when I turn the pad on it just shoves the headset to number two again!!

Its a fault with the premium packs supplied controller. Basically unless you have some other controllers you may be stuffed. Theres a post about it a page or two back which has some possibly useful info.

so thats what the chat invite was about? Sorry when I joined you had already gone and my wireless pad+headset needed a charge before tonight so I went offline. I just find it easier to switch off the wireless pad, then switch on the headset (so it goes on the first ring) then turn on the pad which should also go on the first ring. Seems to solve my problem when it starts playing up.

Or that could be the problem, but I managed to get it working with mine. It usually happens when you move from a wiredheadset straight to a wireless headset and it wont seem to work, but I just sorted it by the above method which worked for me.

Yeah Alrik thats what the invite was about :D

I tried my other controller and it works, obviously I bought that seperate to my premium pack!

Phew for that, would have been well annoyed if it hadnt of worked.

I had this same problem, still have it and the stupid thing is that my controller that came with the prem pack...well i busted it so bought a new one and it still dont want to put it on quad 1...mind you this controller im using it with is on its way out...so looks like tommorrow ill be buying a couple of new controllers :p. Hopefully it should work then...if not im gonna break the headset myself...

It can't be a global fault though, as I only have 1 controller from prem and my headset works fine. The only probs I ave is when it's low on charge (the on-screen display is a bit dubious here in my experience).

No, its not a universal fault, but is becoming a more commonly seen fault, as i said above, theres a thread a few pages back with a lot of links for info etc in :)
