Wireless headset

Have just bought a new wireless headset - it now has a USB cable you plug into the 360 and the headset to charge it. Can i plug this into a USB port on my PC instead to charge it?

Just wondering if its safe to plug it into spare USB port on me PC. Can't find anything on the web bout this

Ah well i'll give it go. If it messes i can always claim it was faulty
